Organic Certification

USDA Organic Certification awarded September 14, 2020 for Vegetable and Fruit Crops.

The Community Food Basket Happyville Farm is the first USDA Certified Organic acreage in the Idaho Falls area, and the first certified organic vegetable, fruit and herb grower in Bonneville County and several counties around. Our certifying agent is the Idaho State Department of Agriculture, which certifies only two other organic vegetable farms in all of eastern Idaho, both in the Victor/Driggs area.

Organic Certification marks our commitment to the highest standards of sustainable growing methods, protecting the land, water and habitat for human health, pollinators, and other native species such as birds. It underscores our commitment to a farm that is safe and accessible to all ages, where we grow the very highest quality produce for sharing with hungry local families.
